With the Government's targets to build three million new homes by 2050, towns and cities are under incredible pressure to expand. But by not doing this sustainably, they risk overstretching their infrastructure, losing all sense of community and ultimately becoming places where people don’t want to live. We have developed the Sustainability Framework for Urban Extensions for the South West Regional Development Agency (SWRDA), which is designed to support the South West in delivering truly sustainable urban extensions where people and businesses can flourish within environmental limits.
