Forum Business Network event - Futures: the importance of long-term thinking

3 June 2008
London

Forum Business Network Event

This event is open to Forum Business Network members only.

Would you like to learn more about how long-term thinking can benefit you and your organisation and improve sustainability performance? Our second Network Event of the year is your chance to meet our futures team and see how we have been using futures techniques in some of our latest projects, learn how some of our partners are applying futures thinking and try out a collaborative futures exercise.

The world faces greater uncertainty as the climate changes, supplies of natural resources diminish, and global population and consumption rise. We can’t predict the future, but we can think more about the sort of future we want and how it could be achieved. Developing robust futures thinking can help your organisation navigate its way through an increasingly unpredictable and chaotic world.

Key note speakers at this event include:

  • Peter Madden, CEO, Forum for the Future
  • Patrick Harris, Thought Engine
